En 1910, le Comité du Congrès mondial des Associations internationales sollicite le prêt de cette maquette afin de la faire figurer à l’exposition qu’il organise à Bruxelles au Cinquantenaire. En 1912/1913 elle se trouve chez l’architecte Chambon. De la correspondance échangée en 1954 entre Paul Fierens et l’architecte Jules Clément il ressort qu’une « grande maquette avec le Musée d’art ancien, la Bibliothèque, etc., englobant la Montagne de la Cour » est conservée dans les caves du Musée.
