Support et dimension du tableau : toile, 20 x 17 cm. Le tableau était anciennement signé et daté 1709 mais ces mentions ont disparus par suite d’une restauration malheureuse effectuée en 1889 par le peintre expert Charles Van der Eycken à Louvain. Celui-ci a enlevé la toile du châssis pour la coller sur panneau et il a découpé les bords en même temps que la signature.
