Le tableau du Carrache (95 x 72 cm) porte les initiales « AC » et est daté 1606. Il été rapporté de Rome par un parent du vendeur. Le Portrait de Gevarts est de la même dimension que celui du même personnage peint par Cornelis de Vos conservé au Musée Plantin à Anvers.
