A la signature du Traité d’Amiens en 1802, un concours officiel fut organisé. François Boher (1781-1825) composa un tableau allégorique sur l'évènement et, avant de l'envoyer @ Paris, l'exposa @ Perpignan. Un mémoire intitulé Description d'un Tableau Allégorique représentant la Pacification générale terminée par la Paix d'Amiens (Perpignan, Imprimerie de Pourtet et Ay, s.d. (ca. 1805), 12 pp) fut publié @ l'occasion de cette présentation publique locale. Boher laissa @ sa mort une importante collection. Ce tableau, que l’artiste tenait en particulière estime, fut légué par sa veuve @ Napoléon III. Se pourrait-il qu’il s’agisse ici du tableau actuellement conservé au Musée Rigaud de Perpignan ?
